Summer Jewelry Care

Can I swim in my jewelry?

Yes — you can absolutely wear your jewellery in the pool! Our 14K gold, gold-filled, and sterling-silver pieces are made for real life — water-friendly, durable, and tarnish-resistant. While chlorine isn’t ideal for any metal, our high-quality materials hold up beautifully. If you take a swim, just rinse with clean water, gently pat dry, and you’re good to go. Whether it’s a beach day, a workout, or a hot shower, your jewellery is designed to keep shining wherever life takes you.

Can I shower in my jewelry?

Yes — you can absolutely wear your jewellery in the shower! Regular soaps and shampoos are perfectly fine — they actually help keep your pieces clean and shiny. Just rinse your jewellery well with clean water afterward and gently pat it dry with a soft towel. Our 14K gold, gold-filled, and sterling-silver pieces are made for real life — shower-safe, shine-proof, and always with you through every day.

Can I wear my jewelry to the beach?

Yes — you can wear your jewellery to the beach! Our 14K gold, gold-filled, and sterling-silver pieces are made to keep up with real life — even under the sun. They hold up beautifully against sand, sweat, and salt water. Just give your jewellery a quick rinse with clean water after your beach day to wash away any residue, gently pat it dry, and you’re ready to shine again. Because effortless style should go wherever you do — from sea to city.

Can I sleep in my jewelry?

Yes — you can definitely sleep in your earrings! Our studs and small hoops are made for everyday wear and gentle enough to snooze in. The only ones we recommend taking off before bed are long dangles or threader styles, as they can snag on your pillow or hair while you sleep. For everything else — sleep soundly, shine effortlessly.

Can I get sunscreen on my jewelry?

Yes — you can absolutely wear your jewellery with sunscreen! Our 14K gold, gold-filled, and sterling-silver pieces are crafted to withstand real life — sun, sea, and everything in between. While sunscreen might leave a light film on your jewellery, it won’t damage or tarnish it. Just give your pieces a quick rinse with clean water and a gentle wipe after application, and they’ll keep their beautiful shine all summer long.

How should I travel with my jewelry?

No matter where or how you travel, you want to keep your jewelry safe, secure and tangle-free (which is easier said than done). We recommend a thoughtfully designed jewelry case to organize your jewelry and keep all pieces snugly in place as you travel…especially if you’re throwing your jewelry case in a suitcase! Or, if you’re more of a minimalist, we recommend choosing one set of jewelry and justwearing itthe entire time you travel to avoid any extra packing stress.

Can I play sports in my jewelry?

Yes — you can totally work out in your earrings! Our 14K gold, gold-filled, and sterling-silver pieces are made to handle real life — sweat, movement, and all. Just give them a quick rinse after your workout to keep them fresh and shining. If you’re wearing large hoops or long dangles, we recommend removing them before sports or high-impact activities to avoid any accidental pulls. Otherwise, your everyday studs and small hoops are perfectly gym-ready — made to move with you.

What about pearls & gems? How do I care for them?

Compared to metal-only jewelry, pearls & gems are much more delicate and require specific care tips. But it’s worth it—because what’s summer without pearls & gems?

  • Wear them often. Pearls & gems love to be worn! The oils in your skin keep them from drying out.
  • Keep away from chemicals. Harsh cleansers, cosmetics, fragrances and chlorine are no-nos.
  • Give your pearls & gemstones some air. They love moisture, which means airtight containers aren’t ideal for these pieces specifically—they may even crack in a plastic bag or safety deposit box. Our jewelry care instructions for pearls are easy: wrap them in linen or cloth, or place them in a soft pouch to store.
  • Wipe to clean. Treat your pearls and gemstones right and they’ll stay lustrous for years. If a film develops on your pearls or gems, simply wipe them with a gentle cloth!
